Standing Still
'Standing Still' was my solo exhibition at Lost Eden Creative in Dwellingup , WA , 3 November - 3 December 2023. It continues my focus on the importance of landscape in our lives - how it mirrors our thoughts and moods; how it provides beauty and solace; and how it’s destruction can speak to our personal loss. My main source of inspiration is Baigup Wetlands on the Swan River floodplain. It possesses a haunting beauty and timelessness that compels me to be in the moment – to stand still.
